About

Since 2003, Student Edge has been working hard to help and support young people across Australia. Through this work we have been privileged to develop a unique and robust relationship with the youth of this country. Over this period, we have been regularly approached by government, not-for-profit and corporate clients, seeking to share our access and understanding of this very tough to reach segment. In early 2014, Student Edge created Australia’s first youth-focused research panel with the goal of giving young people a voice and a role in shaping the policies, products and services of the future, and to help organisations connect with them for research purposes. As a result of the high levels of engagement we have with young people, our Youth Panel has grown to more than 145,000 members, and we conduct hundreds of survey projects each year amongst the 14-29 age group.

Survey Design Support

Our years of online fieldwork experience in the youth space lets us advise our clients on what will work well and what questions may be problematic.

We suggest tweaks and improvements to ensure an engaged respondent experience, which shines through in the form of reliable data.

Survey Programming and Hosting
From recruitment to engagement to data collection, connecting with youth means inhabiting the spaces they inhabit, and this means Mobile. The look and feel of a Youth survey can be branded and customised to the client’s preference, and our programmers are experienced in delivering surveys from the simplest polls to the most complex quant studies.
Data Delivery

Our dedicated project managers take good care of our clients’ projects and are always at hand to answer queries, provide updates on project progress and send interim data files.

We can deliver data in a range of formats (SPSS, QSPSS, Excel, ASCII) and provide tables, complete with significance testing and weighting (where required).

Online Sampling

The Youth Panel team frequently conducts ‘sample-only’ projects for clients who are hosting their own surveys.

We can provide youth sampling for a variety of project types including online quant, online qual, or online community studies.

Qual Recruitment

Our team also provides full service qualitative recruitment – from creating and sampling for an online screening survey to speaking, right through to contacting individual respondents via telephone and confirming their attendance at the focus group.
